I think we would all agree: we could use more exercise right about now.
Plans are in the works for continuing PE with routines at home. In an effort to keep everyone moving as we learn online, I am producing at-home exercise routines for each class. Please know, of course, that parents are invited to participate in these routines, too.
In addition to exercise routines, we encourage you to get your children outside daily for recess: to ride bikes, walk paths, pass frisbees, and throw balls the backyard. An outdoor activity of any kind is great for the entire family.
I challenge you: let's see who can submit the best photo or video of their at-home family outdoor activity or exercise routine in action. Be on the lookout for videos from the Lunz family! Don't expect athletic greatness, though, as we've been sitting at home for a month just like you.
I'm looking forward to the day when we can safely gather together in the Field House. Although that date is not yet known, I, for one, am ready for basketball, volleyball, and dodgeball games in the new incredible space.
While we wait for that day, let's be active together -- even if virtually. I'm excited to work out with you all soon.
