Mr. Sam Lunz
Dear JH Classical Academy Parents,

It is hard to believe we are already halfway through the school year. I can’t help but be thankful for all of the work that our amazing faculty, staff, students, and parents have done to help keep our students learning in person. There is so much that goes into a normal school year; and with this year's additional challenges due to Covid, our perseverance and determination have helped produce joyful students who are learning in a safe, engaging environment.
I am thankful for the opportunity that my child has to learn from amazing teachers who love her as a student, and as a child created in the image of God. As a teacher, I am encouraged by the growth and maturity of our students, as well as their increased depth of knowledge and love of learning. As the Dean of Students, I am excited to see our students full of joy and wonder as they continue to bond as a student body and build a positive school culture.

Finally, with all there is to be thankful for, our work is not yet done. I recognize the period between Christmas and Spring Vacation can be especially challenging so I want to encourage each of you with God’s word in Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” At JHCA, there is surely a harvest of joy, character building, habit formation, and depth of knowledge that we will continue to reap if we keep up the good work!
