A crowd of second graders had huddled around Emmett. It was lunch time, and they had heard he would be interviewed for the school newsletter.
A crowd of second graders had huddled around Emmett. It was lunch time, and they had heard he would be interviewed for the school newsletter.
"Every day we do something new," Emmett started. "I really like working out in PE" (this earned a chuckle from his classmates), "and I really like Art, too."
Emmett paused. He then took a look at the gathering around him. "And," Emmett continued, "my best friends in the whole world are right here with me."
