GTNP Snowshoe Field Trip

3rd Grade students enjoyed a beautiful day of snowshoeing last Friday, January 20.

The third
grade headed to Grand Teton National Park for a snowshoeing field trip. They began by hiking toward the river, stopping for investigation into animal tracks and activities along the way. Then, students were able to dig snow pits and take measurements of snow temperature at different levels. They enjoyed learning about animals that live in the subnivean environment!
