JHCA Welcomes New Staff Members

Jack Ledden joins JH Classical Academy as the building and grounds coordinator with years of experience in facilities management, engineering, and carpentry. His wife, Kristyn Ledden will be the accounting and procurement coordinator.
Mr. Ledden graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design with a bachelor of fine arts degree in Architecture and a master’s of Architecture degree. He also has an associate’s degree in Business and Administration from Fairfax Community College in Warrenton, Virginia.

Most recently, Mr. Ledden worked as a facilities management specialist at Prince William County Schools in Virginia. Mr. Ledden says “For the past four years I have had the pleasure of working with the Prince William County Schools in the Plans, Permits, and Records department as an engineer." There he was able to support the faculty and staff with “knowledge of construction, materials, as well as facilities services and systems design.”

Acknowledging that his work goes beyond the practical day-to-day running of a school building, Mr. Ledden says “I work to enrich the lives of those around me. It brings me great joy to know that my work and knowledge may enhance those I interact with.” Mr. Ledden says that his work at JH Classical Academy will “enhance the environment for both students and staff.”

Mrs. Ledden has pursued a degree in business and administration at Fairfax Community College in Warrenton, Virginia, and brings extensive leadership, training, and supervisory background at Geico in Falmouth, Virginia. She says, “My organizational skills, analytical abilities, and accounts receivable experience from the insurance industry and past careers are going to be an asset to the school.”

Mrs. Ledden is excited to join the JH Classical community. During their visit to the school, Mrs. Ledden said, “I was shown a mission that I am excited to be a part of.” She believes that classical education “is an effective method of teaching because it allows students to think for themselves and help improve the lives of others.”
