Why Give to the Annual Fund?
Providing a classical education takes a lot in the modern world—teacher compensation, school operating costs, updated books, new art supplies, and so much more. Tuition alone does not fully cover our operating costs at Jackson Hole Classical Academy. We rely on gifts to bridge the gap between our tuition revenue and our operating budget. These gifts allow us to share with our students the wisdom and virtue to contribute to a free and flourishing society.

We ask for 100% participation from the JHCA community—parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends—even if it’s only $10!
How your gift will be used:
Faculty & Staff Support
Most our expenses relate directly to our faculty and staff. Cost of living in Jackson, particularly the cost of housing, is significantly higher than in other communities; as a result, our compensation must reflect these elevated costs to attract and retain outstanding employees. We incur higher HR expenses than comparable schools around the country, but without our faculty and staff, we could not provide our comprehensive classical, liberal arts curriculum.
Operation Costs
From purchasing new supplies to keeping the lights on, we require additional support to maintain our facilities, put on events, and update teaching materials. We take care of all supply costs so our students can focus solely on learning.
Special Programs
We are proud to offer a full array of special classes—fine & practical arts, music, chess, and physical education—as well as competitive sports, clubs, and programs like basketball, archery, culinary club, and robotics. Offering these special programs comes with additional costs, but they are non-negotiable when educating the heart and the mind.
Is your gift tax deductible?
Yes! We are designated as a 501(c)3 organization by the IRS. Unlike tuition, any gifts that you make to our Annual Fund or to other funds are tax-deductible.
